L shaped computer desks are very popular, because they allow to make your workspace more comfortable than usual rectangular computer desks. And the trend is that we can find L shaped computer desks in offices and homes more and more often. There are several reasons for that.
First, using L shaped computer desks you can keep much of what is necessary for work literally at arm's length. You don’t need to be walking all the time between your home computer desk and the bookcase or bookshelves. L shaped computer desks also allow to avoid cluttering your workspace.
Secondly, working at an L shaped computer desk, you can visually and functionally divide your workplace into two parts: for work with and without computer. It is useful if you have to work with literature or carry on a correspondence. In this case L shaped computer desks allow you to feel more comfortable and you don’t have to read books in front of the monitor.
L shaped computer desks look rather good in the middle of the room, but they put them in a corner more often though. This decision seems very reasonable especially because, in our opinion, quite little furniture looks as good in the corner as a properly chosen L shaped computer desk.

Of course, nowadays almost each computer desk has shelves for a printer, speakers and scanner, as well as drawers or shelves for CDs and many other things. But in our opinion only the L shaped computer desks have enough space to place all of them in the most comfortable way. In fact, it is not very good, for example, to have a printer above your head, isn`t it.
